I start off with Cher.
This dish is inspired by a dish I saw being made in the movie Moonstruck. I later googled it to find that it could possibly be an Egg in nest. Tried it a couple of times and its the perfect bread and egg breakfast that can be rustled up within five minutes. Goes well with a hot cuppa tea or coffee.
Ingredients:
2 silces of Brown bread
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Ghee
1 teaspoon Cooking oil
How to make it:
1) Heat a frying pan.
2) Carve out a round hole in the centre of both slices of the bread. The ticker the bread, easier it is to make the nest.
3) Lather both slices of the bread with ghee and toast it lightly on the frying pan.
4) Pour the oil in the hole of one bread.
5) Break an egg over the bread. Try and get the yellow portion in the hole of the bread slice.
6) Then place the other bread on top, ensuring that the yellow portion peeks out of the hole.
7) Cook it till half done and serve. If you are finicky about the runny egg, flip it to cook the other side as well.
